Our Mission

The mission of ACOMORAN includes:

Socio-Economic Development

ACOMORAN, despite it's contributions to the socio-economic development of Nigeria especially in the area of employment and revenue generation for government is still regarded, in some quarters, as an association for illiterates and never-do-wells. With hundreds of graduates now in the association, the need for a total re-branding of the association cannot be overemphasized.

Infrastructural Development

Infrastructure is the identity of every organisation. A great association like ACOMORAN, with it's national spread, is overdue for permanent presence in the Federal Capital Territory. We shall give infrastructure the needed attention as my administration did in Ogun State.

Government Partnership

To achieve some of the major plans of our administration, the need to align with the government cannot be over-emphasized.

Membership Welfare

The policies of his administration are anchored on member's welfare with the aim of helping them to make a success of their trade and live with all the benefits of life insurance while ensuring that their old age is secured through an efficient pension scheme.

About Our National President

Alhaji Prince Samsudeen Adebayo Apelogun was elected and sworn into office on 18th April, 2019 as the National President of the association at the Women Development Centre, Opposite CBN, Abuja.

Achievements

His unprecedented achievements in Ogun State include the purchase of landed property and the construction of a multimillion Naira State secretariat, and two brand new hummer buses. He introduced ACOMORAN DAY and had it organised consistently throughout his tenure. He built an enviable synergy with the state government and security agencies.

Aside from empowering many of his members, sponsorship to the Holy Pilgrimage was a regular project, among several other giant feats.

Prince Apelogun is a successful businessman, a goal-getter and philanthropist per excellence. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Allrounder Ventures, a leading distributor of Bajaj Motorcycles in the Southwestern part of Nigeria.

His inestimable contributions to his religion and humanity in general has earned him several chieftaincy titles and awards both locally and internationally. The Baba Adeen of Sagamu and Asiwaju Adeen of Ogun State has a record of leaving every organization better than he met it and ACOMORAN Nigeria, will not be an exception.

Since Apelogun came on board, ACOMORAN has maintained a mutual and symbiotic relationship with its supervising ministry, that is, the Ministry of Transportation. The National President has religiously ensured that the Minister of Transportation and other management staff are carried along with the activities of the union in order to further foster collaboration. This is evident in the timely and regular exchange of ideas and brainstorming on areas of interest with a view to building the transport sector and improving the union.

Apelogun, who is well known to many as “All Rounder” given the thick and thin he has been through in the days of core and the capacity to rise to prominence in the union, is believed to have a magic finger with a calm and gentle mien of achieving any set goal. Without delay, he put the machinery in motion to ensure he doesn’t disappoint his teeming supporters and well-wishers by commencing a nationwide consultation across the 36 states to find ways out of the woods for the union.
